Bible Passage: Revelation 12:11
The Bible is full of truth, but it’s not a textbook of facts; it’s the story of God and His people. It’s not about proving who’s right or who’s better; it’s about God proving His love to people throughout history.
Nothing captures our attention like a great story. Since we have the greatest story in history, we should be history’s greatest storytellers! Think about it this way: Every number has a name. Every name has a story. Every story exists for God’s glory. Therefore, it’s our goal to capture and creatively tell God’s stories.
Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony [story].” (Parentheses added.)
Storytelling begins with a good story, but it’s also an art form. Therefore, we want to use every expression of creativity to be inspirational storytellers. Ultimately, it’s our desire to inspire people to faith, hope, and love.
One of the ways we’ll prioritize this signature truth is that we’ll designate a scribe to capture all of God’s stories for the purpose of strengthening our faith and inspiring us to believe God for more.
