Jesus told His disciples before He ascended, “Wait for what the Father has promised.” It’s only through the Holy Spirit that one faith, one hope, and one love is possible. One City is committed to emphasizing who the Holy Spirit is and what the Holy Spirit does according to the priority of Scripture. We have zero interest in over-emphasizing the Holy Spirit, but neither do we have any interest in under-emphasizing the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, we believe the Holy Spirit guides us, grows us, and gifts us so we can be known by the fruits of the Spirit and by the works of the Spirit.
